課程目標 |
The students should learn how to utilize the following tools and concepts to understand and to analyze their related research problems. Quantitative analyses and to estimate orders of magnitude in practical examples will be emphasized
1. First-order reaction
2. Pseudo-first-order reactions
3. Steady-state approximation
4. Boltzmann distribution
5. Molecular partition functions
6. Transition state theory
7. Molecular Collisions (Hard sphere model, ...)

1. Learn: (i) how to find needed resources; (ii) how to organize and use them.
2. Express yourself with scientific languages; Practice how to ask the right questions.

4. For grading, we will have:
one written exam and one oral presentation and many discussions.
